Burak is an honours graduate from Humber College’s esteemed Jazz Music Program, where he majored in performance and minored in keyboards and ESI (English as a Second Language). His Various private instructors include Paul Delong (Kim Mitchell/Max Webster) Roger Flock (Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Canadian National Ballet Orchestra, Percussion Head Humber College) Having Managed and played in an Original band “Southern Belle” Burak hosted the band to attain several Canadian honours, most notably Q107’s Homegrown winners in 1994,with a song that climbed to number six on the radio stations top ten, and remained in the top ten for three weeks, alongside such artists as Soundgarden and The Smashing Pumpkins. Burak taught percussion privately from 1992-1997 until he began touring full-time. Burak has managed the Beatlemaniacs and has constructed the show that tours the world today. He Has been with Royal Caribbean and Princess Cruise Lines since 1997.He Has also accompanied many tribute bands along the way, from Brian Adams tribute band “Wreckless” to the Heart tribute band “Cinema”, to name a few. To date, Burak has performed in and managed bands that have performed in North America, Europe, The Caribbean and in parts of Asia.
